Balmain x H&M – Full Collection & Lookbook

There are only nine more days left until the biggest fashion event of the year. On November 5th, H&M will release (in our opinion) the most fashion forward designer collection in collaboration with Balmain. Olivier Rousteing – creative director at Balmain Paris – has accomplished to create a collection with stunning runway worthy pieces for an affordable price. Ok maybe not in some cases – so don’t forget to bring your credit card with you – but who cares when it’s still way less than you would normally pay for anRead More
Amidst all high fashion brands in the most exclusive fashion street of Amsterdam, BALR. owner Demy de Zeeuw had the honor to open its very first pop up store at FOUR by Azzurro. BALR., also founded by professional soccer players Eljero Elia and Gregory van der Wiel started off their fashion adventure in 2013. The luxurious lifestyle brand aims to connect the two different worlds of sports and fashion together to create a contemporary clothing line, inspired by the life of a soccer player. BALR. is based in The NetherlandsRead More
Fall isn’t over yet, but I’m already looking forward to the winter and all the festive holidays that are coming up in a matter of weeks! Sipping on some hot chocolate, decorating the Christmas tree, throwing Netflix marathon-parties and cozy cuddling on the couch. Due to the cold winters in The Netherlands – unfortunately – it’s not always easy to pull off sexy styles without freezing your behind off. So why not spice up your outfit with some sexy lingerie? After all, real sexyness is especially in the things that you don’t show.. Hunkemöller, Europe’sRead More

Photo Report: JD Sports Store Opening The Hague

Last Saturday JD Sports unveiled their sixteenth (!!!) sneaker store in The Netherlands! Although it’s only been a year since JD first set foot onto Dutch soil, they have successfully managed to grow into one of the largest sneaker stores now known in The Netherlands. I was invited to the spectacular store opening and captured some amazing snapshots of The Hague’s newest sneaker hotspot on the Spuistraat at number 8! Get ready to see the coolest break dancers, the dopest kicks for you and your honey, and the finest urban street wear you’ve ever seen!Read More
On the last day of Amsterdam Fashion Week I decided to go for comfort. No high heels, no stunning dresses, and last but not least, no heavy bags to carry along my laptop with me (or other work related stuff that I took with me the days before). When it comes to fashion, everything is allowed! For the Grand Finale I grabbed all of the printed items that I could find out of my closet and combined it into a black and white ‘Prints Charming’ ensemble. I dramatized my make upRead More
Wow you guys! What an amazing adventure Amsterdam Fashion Week has been for me this season. As the official Vita Coco fashion reporter this year I had the chance to see all the shows, explore the backstage areas, meet up with the designers and socialize with people who work in the fashion industry. Last Monday the curtain came down on this season’s Amsterdam Fashion Week, so today – unfortunately – I will be showing you the final video report I made at the Westergasfabriek. Expect to see a little compilation of designer Marga Weimans andRead More
The 4th day of Amsterdam Fashion Week was an amazing one! Not only did I get to see the  beautiful collection of Dorhout Mees, I also got to see the Summer/Spring collection of the legendary Tony Cohen. Visiting one of his shows was actually one of the things noted on my bucket list! Check! Tony Cohen is not a stranger when it comes to the fashion industry. Showing his collections all over the world, he has established to create a brand with luxurious items (TONYCOHEN), but also a very affordable lineRead More
Hi you guys! Yesterday my first day as Vita Coco fashion reporter started! After I checked in to get my all access pas, I went to the press center where all the journalists, photographers and other press stay in between the shows. After a short while of enjoying my new discovered favorite Vanilla Coconut Propercorn, the first show was about to start in Vodafone’s Firsts Fashion Lab. Designer Mevan Kaluarachchi kicked off the day with a very nice wearable menswear collection. It had a really young and refreshing feel toRead More

Get Festival Proof With Levis 501 Shorts

Yesterday on my day off, I attended Levis first ever Outdoor Festival in Amsterdam! This event was exclusively for fashion bloggers to celebrate the 501 Cut Offs and High Rise Denim Shorts. Levis has been the market leader – when it comes to denim pants – for almost 161 years now and still manages to keep innovating, yet remaining timeless. They created their first pair of 501 Jeans in the 1890s, a style that went on to become the world’s best selling item of clothing. Knowing Levis for a whole while now, I went toRead More
Last night I went for drinks at the Kahmann Gallery in Amsterdam. The drinks were in honor of Harper’s Bazaar fashion magazine, which is set to launch in The Netherlands in September of this year. Harper’s Bazaar (which is published by the Hearst corporation) started back in 1867 (!!!) as one of the first fashion magazines ever. With their monthly issue, Harper’s Bazaar manages to reach women from all over the world, who are the first to buy the best, from casual clothing to couture. Cécile Narinx (Editor in Chief of Harper’s Bazaar NL) bid all a warm welcome andRead More
